Street Pastors

We are delighted to support the work of Street Pastors across the UK.

Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue.

Each city project is set up by Ascension Trust and run by a local coordinator with support from Ascension Trust and local churches and community groups, in partnership with Police, Council and other statutory agencies.

We have worked closely with Ascension Trust to develop an insurance scheme uniquely designed to meet the demands and needs of Street/School Pastoral work regardless of whether an area is a registered charity or not.

The standard cover is for Public Liability and Employers' liability insurances for all locations notified to us by the Trust.

There are options to provide cover for:

• Trustee liability
• Personal Accident
• All risks for equipment

Eligibility rules will apply. The scheme is exclusive to members who fall under the license' of Ascension Trust, with their Gross Annual Income not exceeding £50,000

We recommend that an annual review is conducted of your insurances, to make sure that the cover is adequate, complete and fully protecting your activities.
